Uhm, seems it's not really a bug in the application installer. It seems the C++
compiler sometimes causes this kind of problems, and it's reported. The error
can be avoided running the apt-worker with this environment variable:

export G_MALLOC_CHECK_=0

Be careful with the underscore at the end of G_MALLOC_CHECK_. Probably this hint
should go to the HACKING file.
