I'm not sure that the reduced prefixes will be compatible with other language
bindings, which might expect the normal pattern, and it could theoretically
clash with future enum values, but I guess we'll see later if it does, and I'd
rather just have this finished.

Sorry to rush you, but this is blocking us from making some progress on a project.
