marius.vollmer at nokia.com changed:

           What |Removed |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
             Status|NEW |ASSIGNED

------- Additional Comments From marius.vollmer at nokia.com 2006-10-23 21:08 -------
The sources.list file is only cleared when upgrading from <= 4.27 to >
4.27. So it usually only happens once. It wont happen on every
upgrade of osso-application-installer.

The reason why it is cleared is that the package database as shipped with IT2006
device does not contain any information about conffiles. (The reason why it
doesn't contain any conffile information is because we have no clue about Debian
packages.)

I will try to find some gross hack that keeps /etc/apt/sources.list in place
regardless.
