Yes, Carlos showed me this, it can't be systemui.

You can open the TN and Home menus (events are being delivered and processed),
the menu window appears (X is working) and matchbox correctly draws the borders
(at least MB doesn't have any problems drawing.) However the content is not
being drawn by Home, but systemui can do it just fine (which should rule out
gtk, theming and fonts)

Daniel, ideas?
