If the Notes application is the active/focused application, try and close Notes
by clicking "x" in the Home menu. The "Save note before closing" prompt will
appear but the prompt will be "covered" by the still open Home menu - this is
even more obvious when the Home menu is in "Finger" mode. This shouldn't happen
- the Home menu should close when an application is prompting the user for
input!

it is true that the window to be closed should be raised on top if it wants to
handle the exit. moving to desktop for discussion.
