OK thanks, I will try it. It seems though that you are solving the problem in
wrong way, you should be filing bugs against Gtk+ or maybe the relevant
window-manager instead. The problems you describe in comment #3, are you
talking about having multiple toplevel windows and modal dialogs for each of
them?
