Summary: SD Cards remount ignores fstab
           Product: System software
           Version: 3.x
          Platform: N800
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: Medium
         Component: mmc-and-usb
        AssignedTo: kimmo.hamalainen at nokia.com
        ReportedBy: cvmiller at gmail.com
         QAContact: mmc-and-usb-bugs at maemo.org

EXPECTED OUTCOME: SD cards should be remounted based on fstab entries

ACTUAL OUTCOME:SD cards are remounted ext2 (0)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
0) Using a Desktop Linux machine format SD cards as ext3, and update fstab (on
N800) as ext3 with sync option
1) Plug USB Cable into Linux Desktop machine.
2) Note on N800 that SD cards are no longer mounted
3) umount SD Cards in Desktop (if mounted) and disconnect usb cable
4) Note on N800 that the SD cards are mounted as ext2 (0)

OTHER COMMENTS:
If the user (as root) umounts the SD cards, and remounts with 'mount -a' the SD
cards will be mounted correctly (ext3 and sync)

I believe for me, that this might be related to the SD card corruption problem
(see bug 1204). I know others are experiencing problems with vfat cards, but
this can't be helping.
