https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2770 aklapper at openismus.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED Target Milestone|Fremantle |4.1+ ------- Comment #15 from aklapper at openismus.com 2008-08-20 01:26 GMT+3 ------- This has been fixed internally in initfs-diablo. The fix will soon be available in a public update for Diablo. Quoting: "It appears that we have a kernel bug in drivers/char/random.c. In the meantime, the driver has been somewhat modified and cleaned-up in mainline; mainline version does not have the bug. The kernel bug causes seeding data written to /dev/random or /dev/urandom to *not* affect the produced random numbers in any way." -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2770 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
