I haven't used my N810 in a while, but the way I remember it is that the
root-level menu (for all applications system wide) is not navigable by
keyboard, except via the arrow keys. 

For example, if I open it and have File, Edit, Window, etc, I can't just jump
to the Window submenu by pressing W; I'd have to press Down + Down + Enter
