------- Comment #8 from maemo-bugs at atleta.hu 2008-01-03 13:33 GMT+3 -------
I did some testing and the results indicate that it might be a software related
bug. I removed the batteries for 6 hours and then I put it back and the device
would boot up normally. Then I turned it off and it would turn switch on again
normally. The RTC backup baterry (or whatever it has inside) seems to have
lasted for about 1.5 hours as I removed the battery at around 5:00am and after
the first successful bootup the device time was 6:31am.

I turned it on and off a few times and then for the last try the blue corner
led (it's an n810) would light up then switch off and it wouldn't boot anymore.
I didn't do anything whith the device when it was on. Haven't started any
application manually it didn't connect to the network or a BT keyboard.

I'm sorry but I didn't count the number of sucessfull on-off attempts. It might
have been just two. I might have released the power button 'too early' for the
last attempt just as the LED lit up. Now I'm waiting for the 1.5 hours to pass
so that I could try it again.
