https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2878 ------- Comment #12 from S.G.Pickering at bath.ac.uk 2008-07-03 10:56 GMT+3 ------- The agps-ui presents a map of the world on which one must click to tell the supl server (via supld I think) where you think you are, and then it will give you ephemeris data, etc., for that location. This is a pretty coarse map, each pixel is something like ~50 miles square. How much of an deleterious effect will this inaccuracy have (bearing in mind that it's pretty difficult to tap with single pixel accuracy anyway)? Can someone who knows about the supl server comment? It would be good if we could use some other interface to provide the supl server with a location (e.g. maemo-mapper, which would give far better precision due to the ability to zoom). Are there plans to provide an API to interface with supld? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2878 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
