On my unit it would sit there in the searching phase without showing a single
satellite.

I went though many reboot cycles without it clearing I tried clearing the gpd
through the control panel as well as removing /var/lib/gpd/nvr_data.  I ended
up removing libsulpd1 and agps-ui, reinstalling the system libraries that were
depended on sulp, rebooting, getting a GPS fix, and finally reinstalling and
enabling a-gps.

I understand that this is not production quality, but to silently die/corrupt
and for it go unreported to the user is bad.
