https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2878 ------- Comment #37 from thomas at mich.com 2008-07-17 00:33 GMT+3 ------- When I reinstalled, I got the updated AGPS which has been great until today, but I think the gps driver needs adjustment. 1. Start the map program. 2. Bring up the GPS screen and enable it INDOORS. With internet but no GPS signal 3. Leave it for 2+ hours so all the bands are flatlines. 4. Go outdoors, clear view of sky, away from wireless access point. Several minutes of flatline still. 5. uncheck and then recheck the enable box. Good lock in under a minute. A tall bar immediately. Whatever it is doing, it should, if it gets a flatline for over 5 minutes, assume it is indoors, maybe go into a low power mode, and do whatever it does when cold/warm starting periodically. Also, does it serve ionospheric corrections? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2878 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
