I've had the unit just over three weeks, and I've spent a lot of that time trying to resolve this issue. I think the bug reporter has pretty much nailed it: after idling for a length of time -- how long varies; up until this evening's round of reboots I would have said at least an hour -- the unit crashes as soon as any application is run, whether or not one was already running. For me, the telltale sign is the keyboard: if, after waking up the unit, you slide it out and it doesn't light up, you know the unit going to reboot as soon as you try to do anything -- it's only a matter of time. And no matter what, entering "cat /proc/bootreason" in xterm afterwards will produce "sw_rst."
