Summary: Typed text appears backwards when under heavy load
           Product: System software
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: N810
        OS/Version: Maemo
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Low
         Component: Input method framework
        AssignedTo: mdamt at maemo.org
        ReportedBy: j.maceachern+maemo at gmail.com
         QAContact: input-method-framework-bugs at maemo.bugs

SOFTWARE VERSION:
(Control Panel > General > About product)
4.2008.36-5
STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
I haven't noticed any correlation between the problem, and what I'm doing, per
se. However, it occurs when I am typing, and the CPU usage spikes, such as
(theoretical example) launching a heavyweight app in the background.
EXPECTED OUTCOME:
Typed text should appear as entered, albeit with some delay
ACTUAL OUTCOME:
Sometimes (not always), when the text doesn't appear immediately, it eventually
appears in reverse order when it does. e.g., I type "foobar1234", and the CPU
applet shows a spike in the middle of the word, I get "foo4321rab". This
happens across diverse apps, and intermittently. I know that isn't much to go
on, so I'll log any future occurrences, and post the details here.
REPRODUCIBILITY:
(always/sometimes/once)
occasionally, but always under similar circumstances
EXTRA SOFTWARE INSTALLED:
