WONTFIX in downstream Maemo.
One-liner workaround posted in comment 4.

If this gets fixed in upstream GNOME gtk+ *and* if Fremantle will ship a very
recent gtk+ version, this *might* become FIXED for Fremantle. Unlikely to me,
though.
