C testcase setting visibility of gtk statusicon to false

I have added a simple test case in C showing the bug. 
In my case it doubles the battery icon, what is worse. If you omit the
set_visible line or you set it to TRUE, the icon works as expected.

For test purposes it compiles with: gcc gtkstatusicon_example.c -o
gtkstatusicon `pkg-config --cflags --libs gtk+-2.0`
