Add a line to the file to enable yourself to do perform a sudo action. In my
case, the totally insecure but incredibly useful:
user ALL = NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/ksh -l -o vi

Fortunately, after the file got rewritten, I was able to get back in by using
SSH (with root login enabled) but I don't think this is something I should have
to do each time there's an update; it doesn't happen like that in Kubuntu (just
as well, since I have a LOT of customisations in sudoers)
