It seems an unusual way to do it (certainly different to my Ubuntu and CentOS
systems) but if it solves my problem I'm happy with it.

However, this leaves a problem in that visudo must therefore be buggy in Maemo
as it leaves a sudoers file that is effectively invalid. It needs to either
create/edit files in /etc/sudoers.d or just print a message telling the user
how it's been replaced and then exit.
