https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3764 ------- Comment #4 from maemo at beermad.org.uk 2008-10-07 17:28 GMT+3 ------- (In reply to comment #3) > Right way: Please, place your string into /etc/sudoers.d/ksh file and run > update-sudoers. > Bad way: Also you can put your changes outside of banners, for example, into > first or last string of /etc/sudoers. In this case update-sudoers should not > overwrite your changes. > > Currently, I think bug is invalid as there are at least two ways to prevent > update-sudoers from overwriting your changes. > Thanks Grigori. It seems an unusual way to do it (certainly different to my Ubuntu and CentOS systems) but if it solves my problem I'm happy with it. However, this leaves a problem in that visudo must therefore be buggy in Maemo as it leaves a sudoers file that is effectively invalid. It needs to either create/edit files in /etc/sudoers.d or just print a message telling the user how it's been replaced and then exit. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.maemo.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Replies to this email are NOT read, instead please add comments at https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3764 ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
