I'm afraid no. I'm on 2008.36-5 and still have those ghost taps. At least I
have them when using the virtual keyboard. (I can't say for sure I don't
experience them elsewhere... it's just that you notice them best when typing.)

They're certainly not due to miscalibration: When I hit "O" (letter) this
morning I got "E", that's too far away.

Two things might be worth noting:

Sometimes when there's such a ghost tap I get the "click" from the screentap
and the visual feedback on the keyboard (key changes color - wrong key,
though), but no character appears in the text area. This rarely happens, but it
does. So not all ghost taps are registered as key presses by the application.

Also, there are times when I go to the bathroom, lock the door and scream
hysterically. This happens when every 3rd or 4th keypress is rreggisterrred ass
a douuble or evvennn triiple taap. My tablet will have these phases every now
and then and after a while will return to normal. I feel that during these
periods of unusually frequent double-taps, I also get more ghost-taps than
usual. So the two could be related.
