STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:
1.open X Terminal,type some characters(Do not type enter).
2.close your physical keyboard, and then open the virtual keyboard.
EXPECTED OUTCOME:
see the characters that you typed
ACTUAL OUTCOME:
nothing
REPRODUCIBILITY:
(always/sometimes/once)

OTHER COMMENTS:
open Notes (menu -> Utilities -> Notes ), and do the same steps with above, you
will get the expected result.
