[maemo-community] [maemo2midgard] website update

Hello,

It's been a long time when someone posted to this list, so let me
break the ice. We had a review at Nokia today and it seems after so
many months of struggle we agreed to release test.maemo.org, but with
some actions prior. The actions, or rather the issues are the
following:

New frontpage:
- Rendering problems with Netscape, IE and Firefox
   o tested on Windows and on Linux
- The first "News" column should be called "Announcements"
- Missing featured application from garage on the right side
- Missing Planet from the bottom
(See frontpage mockup [1])

Other:
- maemo3.0-bora page rendering problem with IE
- Application Catalog rendering problems with IE

The content also needs some care here and there, but that will be
fixed after launch. From now onwards we will use bugzilla to report
content related bugs. A policy on that will be written by Quim. He is
going to take care of all the content. Design changes and decisions
are also in Quim's hands.

Alright, so we see the finish line already (or at least I do). Let's
take a final, big breath, fix the issues listed above and close this
chapter of our beloved site. Who is in?
