Now comes the old fart ... :) ext Henri Bergius wrote: > Hi, > > 2008/8/1 <Peter.Schneider at nokia.com>: >> Henri wrote: "This is a good start, but I think we should prepare also >> for a bit wider-ranging visual redesign." >> >> Fully supported thinking within reason of available resources. Sure, but not in a rush or half way. I'm personally a bit tired of skipping our plans because something exciting comes in, ending up in half implementation of the old plans plus half implementation of the new & improvised ideas. > We have some unspent hours from H1 that I would be glad to allocate to this. https://wiki.maemo.org/100Days/Sprint3 https://wiki.maemo.org/100Days https://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo.org_backlog Nemein is all over the place with many tasks that are lacking in timing (you guys keep being really busy), reporting (you still are not doing the reports we all agreed to do) and execution. I think you should finished what you have already committed before committing to more. Your tasks and HIGH bugs need a lot of love still within the 100 Days plan that we should deliver to the Maemo communty as promised, within our possibilities. About the website: https://wiki.maemo.org/Improving_maemo.org https://wiki.maemo.org/Task:Content_Cleanup are both part of the 100Days. Nobody has touched significantly those pages (mainly discussion, no specific plans) since they were discussed at the beginning of June. Nobody has committed to take them for a sprint either. If anybody wants to help and push, welcome. Nobody is stopping anybody from proposing ideas, plans, mockups... But Nemein and specifically Henri has imvho a big queue of pending tasks that are more important than a quick face lift before the summit. -- Quim Gil marketing manager, open source Maemo Software @ Nokia
