	Dave, 

	I've attached a GIF od the new logo -- don't know if it's any better
than your attempt, though (GIF, by nature, don't offer a lot of
flexibility when it comes to transparency). If it's got to be GIF I
would suggest making several versions that incorporate the various
background colors needed (as stated by others) or use a PNG with the
transparency hack (I do this on several sites with little/no
performance issues). Or... 

	...discontinue support for IE6 and just use the tranparent PNG. ;)
