Hi, Is it just me or the number of newbie developer questions is increasing significantly in maemo-users and maemo-developers? There is plenty of data in the official documentation and I bet most of the questions are answered there. If they are not, then hopefully a wiki page will exist with an answer (or we could work on creating it). If nothing of this is happening it is either a bug or a weird question. http://maemo.org/development/ and http://maemo.org/development/documentation/ are pages not good enough, to put it soft. They should give all the visibility to the very few links that matter e.g. Quickstart Guide, Reference Guide, Training Materials, wiki documentation... Almost as important, when answering to those questions it would be good to spend 5 minutes answering the right link in the current documentation instead of spendig that time or more explaining the hack. This way people with questions are invited to check more and better the documentation, and people with answers are encouraged to check that documentation, find the answers or the lack of it (which could be turned in a bug report to improve the documentation). -- Quim Gil marketing manager, open source Maemo Software @ Nokia
