... or we can discuss your area before here in the mailing list + wiki, not as an exception on you this time but as a normal procedure for people not able to make it in a certain sprint meeting. This way we can establish fixed dates and times and people can get organized in time. There will be a log of the chat, which is always easier to follow than brief minutes from a face 2 face meeting.
