Hello, This is just to let you know that we have mediawiki running at: https://wiki.maemo.org/index.php You can login with your garage username/password. I made a small extension to authenticate against "garage" . I disabled real name use in the wiki. The reason for that is to prevent users changing this data on the preferences page. The changes would not have been synced to garage anyway. We already agreed to use a centralized profiling, and this is what I kept in mind. I hope that's okay with you. I need to look into how to disable "editing the email" address, but keeping the other email functionality (such as sending mail upon page changes etc.) enabled. It might be that the easiest way of hacking this will be in the skin. Beside the GForge extension a couple of lines of original mediawiki code was changed too, which I will document. There is a minor glitch with the "my contributions" page, but I am investigating that too. We should still do a lot of customization, not speaking of the content. As for the "maemo skin" is concerned I could look into that if no one else wants to try. This could be a potential task after I am done with the GForge upgrade. Please login at least once to the new wiki and let me know by mail/chat if you succeeded or not. Dave, Marcell: I assume you want admin rights. So please ping me after your 1st successful login. Cheers, ferenc
