Again, this is NOT a mailing list, it is simply an alias from council at maemo.org 
  to the emails of all current council members. The ONLY purpose this  
serves is to make it easier for people to contact the council directly  
(for whatever reason). Instead of having to hunt down each individual  
council member's email address, they can simply email  
council at maemo.org and have it go to all five. It is a tool of  
convenience only.
