Fair enough, I tried my best. :) I still think a dynamic page showing the real stuff is far more interesting for everybody than a intermediate "Welcome" page, but I seem to be the only one seeing that. Would it be fair to ask that the home for anonymous users would be like you are proposing but then the one you see as logged in user and that /home would be more in the dynamic way? For regular visitors this type of page is much more useful than having to go through each dynamic page every morning to see what's up.
