Another good topic :-) Could anyone who cares comment this post http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?p=218501#post218501 here? This place is perhaps more apropriate for such discussion. Basically I have no problem with karma as such. It is useful an interesting in some ways. What I have problem with is using the total calculated number (let's call it BogoKarma number) as sole reason for drawing line and excluding people below the line. There was such attempt with the voting. No matter how well various factors are tuned it is inaccurrate and multiple karma sources IMO multiply this inaccuracy or at least does not even it out. Also (as metioned here previously) it is more about quantity not quality and without peer rating system for each karma input it will always be like this. The maemo-mapper example is good one and I'm not sure you can solve this by tuning some numbers. So I am asking for some sort of Karma usage agreeement because I feel it can be dangerous weapon when using in specific way :-) Frantisek
