Yeah, you're right. But, I am one of those busy people too (e.g., I have not
yet been able to participate in an IRC session). But, I do periodically have
the time to read through my maemo-* mailing list digests. Likewise,
"Watching" the wiki is a great way to stay up-to-date.

Still, as we have often discussed, there are issues with the Karma system --
hence, your ineligibility, which is unfortunate. But, also as stated, these
are things that will be worked out in time. And, I wouldn't assume whomever
is chosen for the council will have life-time positions in the council --
meaning, many more people should have a chance to interact as council
members in the future.

All of this being said, I think the first council will have a lot to iron
out in these regards.
