Nothing personal, but one is forced to wonder if you could've been a productive member of the council if (say) there were no restrictions on who could stand, if you've not had the time - nor felt it necessary - to subscribe to maemo-(developers|users|community). The point of a council member is to represent the views of the community - if one isn't involved in the main, primary mechanisms of communication within that community; how can one represent it?
