I like this.
This trend of owning up to making mistakes was started some time back
by Frantisek I believe when the maemo server blew up during an OS
update. It is something which should permeate I believe throughout the
whole Nokia tablet ecosystem. During the recent chaos of the developer
device program for example it would have been nice if someone had had
the same courage rather than leaving Quim to run around trying to
figure out what was going on

Far from showing the company in a negative light it shows that people
inside it care enough to accept their responsibilities and it shows
users that there are human decisions and human beings behind the
technology
