Remember that "making sense" is the most important part. Rules adapting
to sense is what makes sense, the rest is pharisaical.

There is a Maemo community that finds its home at maemo.org. There are
plenty of complementary/alternative venues where Maemo community members
meet and have fun. All this is good and a symptom of a dynamic and open
community. Where is the problem?
