[maemo-community] [Council] Community Council Blog

One of the recommendations that came out of the discussions revolving
around the perceived lack of advertising of important election
procedure discussions was that the council should maintain a blog of
some sort to help keep the community abreast of important issues and
discussions.

There are a number of ways we could go about putting this together.

The first easiest is to simply sign up for a Blogger account for
maemocommunitycouncil or similar and have it aggregated to Planet.
This approach is simple and easy to set up, but it's also somewhat
cumbersome (long url), slightly less official-sounding
(*.blogger.com), and somewhat less visible (Planet).

The other option is to do something more directly through maemo.org,
either by using the existing News system for council blogging or maybe
having a separate URL for the council blog (council.maemo.org or the
like). This has the advantage of being more official, more visible,
and lots cooler. :D The problem, of course, is that it's much more
complicated to set up?

So, any opinions from anybody?
