As vivainio pointed out, the dollar sign has a much broader meaning, not just as a currency. From that aspect, it is clear why it is voted higher - among the voters there is likely a high percentage of console/hacker people which will appreciate the dollar sign regardless of their residence. I'm not sure how representative that is of the general population, though. Regards, Attila
