[maemo-community] Web design meeting: 14:00 UTC today

Hi all,

I've been lax this week - I didn't send minutes from last week's
meeting, and I had intended to remind people of the web design meeting
yesterday, but didn't get around to either.

As usual we will be meeting in #maemo-meeting today to follow progress
since the last meeting and set objectives for the next week in the
maemo.org redesign.

Here is a summary of the objectives from last week:
Glaubert: Switch to normal mail delivery mode from digest mode for
maemo-community
Glaubert: Finish the icons required for the new site as detailed in
http://wiki.maemo.org/Task:Improving_maemo.org/Graphics
Glaubert: Greate 'Get involved' and 'Get help' buttons for front page
Glaubert: Design big & small templates for profiles and applications
Glaubert: make PSDs for front page & icons available
Niels: Complete front page and Downloads on newstyle.maemo.org, except
for news part, people & application templates.
Henri & Neithan: Continue work on theme, midgard templates for pages
that are underway.

Niels and Henri requested designs of some other pages and elements.
Niels and Henri mentioned "a styled <hr>", the log-in page, the events
listing, news, planet. Dave pointed out that there was already a
proposal for news and planet that should be applied to events also, and
the log-in page doesn't really need much designing.

Progress can be followed at newstyle.maemo.org and at
http://wiki.maemo.org/Task:Implement_new_maemo.org_layout_and_style
where the tasks left to implement the design are listed in slightly more
detail.
