Dave, Cool! A couple of notes... There's nothing to indicate whether I should just choose 'some' of the characters or 'all' of them. Could you add text to suggest choosing all, but that it's not required? (Unless I missed that somewhere.) Or, make 'all' a requirement and add an error if 'all' aren't chosen. (I'd prefer the first method.) It would be nice if, on the confirmation page (3/4), there was a 'back' or 'change votes' button... Or instructions that the user can click their browser's Back button (if that is, in fact, possible -- I didn't try). If one of those elements doesn't exist, then the confirmation screen isn't really required/usable. Other than that... Nice work! :) Tim --- http://tim.samoff.com On Mon, 09 Mar 2009 16:22:05 +0100, Dave Neary <dneary at maemo.org> wrote: > Hi all, > > The preferential election software is online, and we've set up a test > election to smooth out any creases before using it on the real deal > later this week. > > Could anyone who could vote in the referenda a couple of weeks back > please go to http://maemo.org/vote and participate in the very special > Maemo election to decide who the 3 most popular Simpsons characters are > among the Maemo community. > > Your temp token is your email address (which means that if you're quick, > you might even be able to get in a few votes). > > I'm particularly looking for feedback on bugs related to browsers - if > there are major issues preventing people from voting, we'll have to > address them quickly. > > Thanks! > Dave. --
