And either of those is awkward to get right even if you know that.

It would help if we could have 
a) A direct link for the first one, and mention it often:

and
b) Direct links for important modules, such as:
https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Desktop%
20platform&component=hildon-widgets
(Ignoring the fact that hildon-widgets is a confusing name for
libhildon, but that's another story with no happy ending.)

Otherwise I lose a little will to live for every link that I have to
click.

If this was GNOME's bugzilla, then modules would be products not
components, so they would be easier to find and they could have
"documentation" components.
