[maemo-community] Maemo Summit Content submission deadline coming up

Hi all,

The deadline for submissions for the Maemo Summit is fast approaching :
see http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo_Summit_2009/Call_for_content - we will
definitively finalise the schedule on September 13th.

We're fast running out of slots on the schedule, and while we still have
a few slots left, we have more proposals under consideration than slots
available already, so if you hope to make it onto the schedule:
http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo_Summit_2009/Schedule you'd better hurry to
get your proposal in.

One place where we have lots of space is lightning talks. We will be
proposing to a number of presentations that they do a lightning talk
instead of a full session, but we still have a number of free slots (up
to 10) available for lightning talks. If the thought of a full
presentation scares you, but you feel like you can do 5 minutes
presenting your application or library, please come on down & submit!

If any of you are awaiting a decision which might affect your decision
to travel, or your elligibility for a travel grant to attend, please
contact the content committee (myself, Valerio or Jamie) as soon as
possible, we will expedite a decision on your session.

Thanks!
Dave.
