Hello all,

A question for anyone knowing the Amsterdam public transportation system. I
will be arriving at Schiphol at 7:00 am on Friday Oct 9. My intention is to
proceed to the hotel first (very close to Station Centraal), check-in, and
then head over to the Summit at Westergasfabriek. There is a 'Train'
leaving Schiphol to Station Centraal very frequently. However, if my flight
is delayed, or I feel that there is not enough time, I will have to proceed
directly from Schiphol to the Summit (dealing with the check-in in the
evening). I looked at the directions on the Westergasfabriek
site<http://www.westergasfabriek.nl/english/engels_routebeschrijving.php>,
and it says to take "Metro to Station Burgemeester de Vlugtlaan, transfer to
Bus 21 direction Central Station, stop Van Hallstraat. You will find the
Westergasfabriek on the other side of the canal.".

However, I am unable to see that there is indeed a 'Metro' from Schiphol to
Station Burgemeester de Vlugtlaan [1]. There is a 'Train' that goes from
Schiphol to the Station Centraal, and it appears to pass Station
Burgemeester de Vlugtlaan. Does anyone know if the train will stop there?
Otherwise, I'll have to get off at Station Centraal, and backtrack on Bus
21; in which case, I may as well check in at the hotel before heading
(possibly late!) to the Summit.

Thanks!

Sanjeev
