We use "official" tools but we have just created scripts on top of them to integrate these official tools into Maemo documentation infrastructure. And yes, I ask you to trust that our tools work as we have tested them to work. If you find any actual problems from our doc tools just let me know and we will fix them. > > > Maemo Info Center has the latest versions of all documents we have > > published there (http://library.maemodocs.nokia.com/documents). > > I assume I have to take the docs in the Fremantle directory containing > "Maemo 5 tutorials" and "Maemo 5 QT documentation"? The latest versions of documents can be downloaded as separate documents from here: http://library.maemodocs.nokia.com/documents/. I do not want to release MediaWiki converted versions (in addition to HTML and PDF) from our documents as they are not so useful for normal users/developers. To be able to import documents to the MediaWiki you need MediaWiki converted versions and they can be done using maemo doc toolchain and LaTex baseline files I already send links to you couple of weeks ago. I had to remove those links but I can resend them to you or provide ready-converted MediaWiki versions if you do not want to do that yourself. > > > Maemo.org wiki now has older versions (PreFinal versions from here > > (http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-dev-env-downloads.php) that need > to > > be updated to be in sync with Info Center. > > Do you know how to update these files? You can update all imported document just by re-importing on top of them. Now when you have used your own method to import current versions I am not sure anymore how to update them but I propose you try to import new versions on top of them and see what happens. If updating dos not work you need to start from scratch. You anyhow need to fix all those imported docs in wiki because there are no pictures at all in current doc set. > > > When you are ready to update maemo.rog wiki I can send to you > > prebuilt MediaWiki import versions of all documents so that you do > not need to > > install our doc infra to generate those. I will resend you those download links again for ready-converted MediaWiki versions of these documents. Cheers, //Jarmo > > Thanks! > Dave.
