It'd certainly save me having to remember to get round to asking Niels or Jeremiah to remove the old "Horizon" package I uploaded ages ago, before it was renamed "Attitude". There is probably some careful thinking to do, though, about any impact his might have on builds etc. I'd say the source pacakges should stay, though. Having stuff just lie around in -devel just encourages users at some future point to use it. It should really be seen as a staging ground for developers to try things and check their packages are vaguely sensible before promotion to -testing IMHO.
