[maemo-community] Deprecate the maemo-community list?

You will lose their input. But the people addicted to forums will tell you 
that does not matter as these people are not 'engaged' anyway, otherwise 
they would make the effort to visit the forum.

I think people insisting on moving mailing lists to forums do not respect 
my time. I'm trying to keep up-to-date on 20+ subjects of interrest. Using 
mailing lists this takes 20-40 minutes a day on average. Trying to do the 
same using forums takes at least 3 times that amount as it means having to 
visit 20 diffent websites to check for new messages and read them, 
involving a lot of page load delays.

A forum is a nice solution if you're only following a few subjects or if 
you have a lot of spare time, IMHO.

I will not be visiting the t.m.o thread but will miss this list if it is 
yet another list that becomes a victim of the everything should be a forum 
mob.
