Dear all, I need to make the same distinction here that I made on TMO. I am not asking for all the mailing lists to be shut down, I am only asking for the community list to be shut down. And the Community forum doesn't have high traffic nor noise content, for the same reason that this list doesn't have much traffic. Generalisations about a medium that you do not prefer are counter-productive. Go take a look. Does that forum look noisy to you? Or do the current threads look informative and useful? http://talk.maemo.org/forumdisplay.php?f=16 Other counter-productive things in a conversation like this include flatly stating things like, "I will never change my ways," and casting aspersions about people with different preferences than yourself. "qole erm Alan" -- enthusiast, n. "One whose mind is wholly possessed and heated by what engages it; one who is influenced by a peculiar fervor of mind; an ardent and imaginative person." -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
