[maemo-community] Encouragement to council candidates

Indeed. But, then again, the forum doesn't elicit the same in-depth
responses and discussion that one gets on IRC.

Oh noes! How on earth can the same announcement be expected to be
posted in THREE places when their primary role is one of facilitation
of community communication?! Tim, you're just *SOOOO* unrealistic.

Matt, wasn't it you who pushed *very* strongly for a single point of
communication for all community-wide announcements from the council?
The Community forum on talk isn't that, it's a talking place and
discussion forum - there's lots of other threads amongst the
"official" stuff. The same goes for planet.maemo.org (it's *very*
high-traffic now and a day away from it will leave you missing stuff);
and - again - the same for the maemo-community.
