He has served in the past and shown to be an asset. I have been especially enjoying Ryan's posts since he left council and I encourage him to jump back in. I hope you will consider it. Much appreciated, Matthew. I've actually been flip-flopping over whether or not to run for the past few months, but I think I've finally decided to do so, sooo here's my spiel: I've been involved with Maemo in one way or another since the earliest days of the 770, I love this platform, I love this community, and I'd like to help make it the best it can be. MeeGo represents a massive change not only for the Maemo Community today, but also to the landscape of mobile computing in the future. MeeGo is the answer to many of the questions and issues mobile Linux has faced over the past 10 years, and stands in a position to bring the cohesive mobile computing platform of the 21st century into existence--MeeGo is BIG. Unfortunately, it also means the Maemo Community is in for a bumpy ride over the coming months. Helping to steer the community through this ride is going to be a lot of work, but it's also an incredible opportunity. I can't say I've ever been one for detailed political platforms, so I'll summarize why I want to be on the council: I like helping make good things happen.
