[maemo-community] qole's maemo.org community award submission

Hello, community council and everyone else!

It is so good to see a duly elected council again, and it is good to see a
busy community mailing list, too, even if it IS mostly people trying to get
free stuff. ;-)

I recognise some names from the forums and IRC who I think should get a
device of some sort...

Anyway, I'm posting here because I would like an N9. If we can have
something other than black, I would prefer that.

I've been around the community a long time, was on the council twice,
developed Easy Debian, and have been supporting it for years now.

I would be supporting Easy Debian for the N9 / N950 if they hadn't made it
impossible to install without either supposedly voiding your warranty or
installing a risky hack.

I confess to being a member of the N950 club, and I wouldn't normally be
asking for another free device, but this happened a week ago:
