not only. osso-backup has its own encrypting/decrypting algorithm 
for that ZIP files. so encrypted backups cannot be decrypted 
without osso-backup. but jonwil found decrypting functions and 
created simple application for decrypting. For more see:

but he used source code of old osso-backup version. for full 
compatibility we need source code of current fremantle version.
