An important question arises... I don't think that any one person should
retain "ownership" of domain, hosting, etc. Is there a way to transfer
it to a Foundation? Again, I'm not a lawyer. But, for instance, if you
transfer the domain to me and I decide to leave and take it with me...
Not good.

There's got to be a way to do this on a non-specific level, right?
